Create a Query using the Query Builder

To define and run a new ad-hoc query, click Query Builder on the Query capability panel. Name your query something descriptive to you so you can reference it later, and toggle Save Query on to be able to reference it later in your current SAM IS session.

Next, if applicable, click the drop-down arrow to select an asset from the available assets in your instance of SAM IS.

To query based on one single attribute, click Add a filter expression. To query based on multiple attributes, build a query with Add an expression set.

Click OK to run the query. The results will be displayed on the Query capability panel as the 'Current Map Selection' and the selection results will be loaded in the Collect capability panel.
